What is the easiest way to get to Nantucket?

Answer

While we provided options under the travel section of our website, the easiest way would be to take the passenger ferry from Hyannis. You can leave your car, and then hop on the ferry for a beautiful ride!

Do I need a car on Nantucket?

Answer

Nope! Cars are not needed on Nantucket. Our venue and recommended hotels are all in town, which is walkable. If you want to explore other areas, there are plenty of ubers and taxis, along with a local free bus called The Wave. There's also many bike rental spots in town!

What is the dress code for the wedding events?

Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

While our room block is at The Nantucket Hotel (wedding venue), we're lucky to also have several fantastic hotels within walking distance to our venue. Since everything is so close, we won't be offering a shuttle service. You'll be able to stroll to and from the wedding with ease!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in the shell garden of The Nantucket Hotel. Cocktail hour will be both indoor & outdoor. The reception is indoor.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we adore children, our wedding will be geared towards adults. This will allow our guests to relax, socialize, and celebrate with us. We're grateful for your cooperation. If you wish to bring your children to the island, there's a great Nanny service you can use: https://nannytucket.co/

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
