Jodrell Bank
Jodrell Bank is an active deep space observatory with an associated visitors centre with exhibitions on the history of the telescope, a clockwork Orrery (working model of the solar system) and science exhibits. There are lovely grounds and a café on site so plenty for the family.
Trafford Centre - including Legoland and Sealife Centre
If your looking for shopping, a day out with the kids or just a massive choice in somewhere to eat the Trafford Centre is worth a visit. It is one of the largest shopping centres in the country and also houses both Legoland and the Sea Life Aquarium. Adjacent is a large indoor snow ski slope and indoor skydiving.
Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker
"Welcome to one of the nations most secret defense sites. Hack Green has played a central role in the defence of Britain for almost sixty years." Open to the public since 1997, you can visit and explore a Cold Ward nuclear bunker. Hack Green was one of 21 fixed radar stations in the country and one of only 12 fully equipped with searchlights and fighter aircraft control.
Chester
Chester is a lovely city within easy reach of the wedding venue. There is a wonderful walk around the roman walls, the roman amphitheatre, or simply walk through the eras of history within the streets of the city.
BeWILDerwood Cheshire
A huge, award winning forest of family fun and outdoor adventure. Treehouses, Wobbly Wires, Slippery Slopes, Crocklebogs, Twiggles and Boggles, storytelling, face painting and really yummy food!
National Trust - Little Moreton Hall
As some may know Becca has a love of visiting old buildings and reading all the signs (much to Sebastian's distress!). This amazing Tudor Hall gives a real insight into the architectural methods, history or social mobility, and an amazing penthouse entertainment space worth a visit alone.
