Sebastian and Rebecca met while working in the same Scientific research group in Norwich. They started as colleagues, this moved to friendship, and after losing many evenings talking in the office after work was done Sebastian suggested they should probably hang out outside of work! With this, things seemed to fall into place and they never looked back. In a strange coincidence one of the bridesmaid's (Vicki) had actually known Sebastian before Becca after living in the same shared house in Norwich! In Becca's first week in Norwich she actually did not have a house so Vicki kindly put her up, and she explained she actually recently had a housemate (now moved out) who works at the same place, a young man from Germany with a great sense of humour. Little did she know that one day she would be bridesmaid for the both of them! 10 years later after both changing careers, moving cities, buying a house and becoming fur-parents, Sebastian (with a little help from the dog) got down on one knee and asked an important question...

On a rare moment where they both managed to arrange annual leave together they escaped to a cabin in the middle of nowhere, on a welsh hillside overlooking Pen Y Fan (and a whole lot of sheep). In their little bolthole Sebastian gave Rebecca a gift. It was a gorgeous photobook with memories back across their entire relationship - including tickets he'd kept from their first dates all those years ago! As she flipped to the final page there was a photo of their dog wearing a bandana with the words "Will you marry my dad?". She looked up from the book and there was Sebastian on one knee with a ring, and Tux (their dog) with the same bandana and looking mighty confused at what his humans were up to. Of course she said yes, celebrating with a cold glass of Champagne and looking out over the beautiful Welsh countryside from a wood fired hot tub.
