We met on Becca's 23rd birthday after initially connecting on Tinder. Neither of us were expecting anything serious or that anything would actually happen from downloading the app. It was both of our first meet-up using an online dating app, so we were a little skeptical to say the least. Becca brought about 20 of her girlfriends (B-DAY CELEBRATION!) and Ryan brought a co-worker for their initial link-up. We both thought, "Well, if they end up being super weird, we'll just leave!". Especially for Becca, she was not making this meet-up to be anything serious. In fact, when Ryan offered to buy her a drink, she lifted up an entire pitcher of beer and exclaimed, "I'm good!". Needless to say, we both finally got to talking, both with our friends and with one another, and totally hit it off! Shortly after meeting, we went on an official first date -- football and bar food! It was probably the most casual, natural, and easy first date of our lives. Ever since, we've been together! -- Through grad school meltdowns, moving cities, countless adventures, and to buying our first home! But we both know, the real adventure will start 7/3/2021! We cannot wait to officially become Mr. & Mrs. Willett! <3
