When should I RSVP by?

I can’t attend all events – is that okay?
Answer
Of course! Come when you can – just don’t forget to RSVP “no” to events you won’t be attending.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! If not, we prefer to just have you attend. We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event, with the exception of our favorite nephew and ring bearer, Benny! We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at the home.

Is there a dress code? What colors should I wear?
Answer
Yes! The dress code for the day of the ceremony is semi-formal. Think elevated garden party. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work. We invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include neutrals like beige, soft greens and blues, and pastel yellows, pinks, and purples, but any neutral color will do! For photos, we ask that you avoid extremely vibrant colors. Additional dress code details for each event can be found in the details listed on the 'Schedule' page of this website.

Although we can’t predict the exact weather, temperatures in Avignon in late September are typically comfortable ranging from 60–75°F (15–24°C) during the day, and a bit cooler at night.

While accommodation at the chateau has been reserved for close family and friends, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available very close to the venue. The 'Travel' page on this website includes several suggestions regarding travel and accommodations.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
CEREMONY | Temple Saint-Martial is centrally located, and is only a 5-10 minute walk for those staying in Avignon city center. However if you are driving to the ceremony, we recommend parking at a nearby garage at the following address: Parking Indigo Avignon Jean Jaurès Av. du 7ème Génie 84000 Avignon, France RECEPTION | There is plenty of parking on site at the château for the reception. Signs will be posted to direct you where to park.

Will there be an open bar?

If you know us well (and we know you do!), you know that we'll be having an open bar. We will be offering select wine, beer, and signature cocktails.

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?
Answer
Absolutely! We will have allergy-sensitive options served throughout the cocktail hour and at dinner. Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions you have when selecting your meal preference through the 'RSVP' page on this website.

Can I take photos?
Answer
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome and encouraged to take photos and videos of the rest of the night!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund. You can find our wish list for our honeymoon to Japan on the 'Registry' page of this website.
