Kindly RSVP by April 20th, 2025. If you can't attend, we would appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible.
Our wedding dress code is black-tie optional. While tuxedos are not required for men, they are highly encouraged for those who wish to embrace the elegance of the occasion. Women are encouraged to wear full-length gowns, though cocktail dresses are acceptable. Mid-length or full-length gowns are preferred to maintain the formal atmosphere. When selecting your attire, any color is appropriate except whites and reds. Wearing white, ivory, or cream is a definite no, as these shades are reserved for the bride. A black-tie dress code is a beautiful opportunity to showcase your style while honoring the formality of our special day. We'd like to ask all guests to respect these preferences. What Not to Wear To maintain the black-tie atmosphere, we ask guests to avoid casual attire such as sundresses, sneakers, jeans, cowboy or baseball hats, polos, t-shirts, shorts, or tank tops. Weather Considerations Please keep in mind that May weather can be warm and unpredictable. Daytime temperatures may reach the 80s, with cooler evenings in the 60s. May also marks the start of the rainy season, so we recommend being prepared for possible rain. We appreciate your effort to dress beautifully and comfortably for our celebration!
We request that our wedding ceremony and reception be child-free. While we love your children, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them on this special day. We hope you can join us for a relaxed and enjoyable weekend with friends and family. Thank you for being so understanding!
Due to limited capacity and the intimacy of our venue, we can only accommodate plus ones if it is specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, your invitation would list "(your name)" & Guest." For families, it will list "(your name) & Family" or "The (your last name) Family." When you go to RSVP, you can see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please. However, tables and seats for the reception are being carefully arrange so our guests are seated with those they know (or their plus one or partner).
Miles and I invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials with an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight (and on silent) until the ceremony concludes! We also have a very talented photographer and videographer capturing our day, and we will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding.
The ceremony will start promptly at 7pm; we recommend guests arrive at 6:30pm so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you can still attend the reception, so hang tight, and we will see you there! Thank you for understanding.
No. For personal reasons I (Rebecca) have decided not to change my name. I realize that in certain social situations you may refer to me as Mrs. Blomgren, but when addressing a gift, whether physical or monetary, please be mindful to address it to Mrs. Rebecca Hampton and Mr. Miles Blomgren.
We have included an RSVP card with postage in your invitation. We request that you mail your RSVP, but you can also RSVP online if you prefer.
Our ceremony will be held outdoors, surrounded by large oak trees and Spanish moss. As guests arrive at the venue, they will be offered either water or champagne, along with fans to help them stay cool. The reception, on the other hand, will be held indoors!
