becca and michael met the old-fashioned way...on Bumble! After a quick and to the point conversation, we made plans for our first date at a rva brewery - triple crossing. we shared a hot honey and pepperoni pizza and its still one of our favorite places to visit!

after attending a family wedding in austin, we flew to colorado for some exploring before michael was to attend a conference in denver. through a comedy of stories getting delayed and not believing we would make it to our destination on the first night, we arrived in glenwood springs as planned, though later than expected. michael, always the planner, had to postpone popping the question a day in order to ensure a spectacular view! the next morning we rode a gondola up a mountain and to becca's surprise, michael had been hiding the ring for 6 days, 4 hotels, 3 flights, and 2 rental cars and took a knee on top of the mountain! photo credit: jason collins photography
