Wedding Party

Tanya Pearce-Gordon

Officiant

Tanya has known the groom for almost 7 years, through her son who is a friend, coworker, and former roommate of the groom. Tanya has been around for the entirety of the bride and groom's relationship and has been their biggest cheerleader. She is kind, supportive, and one of the fiercest women the bride and groom know. They are more than honored to have her as their officiant.

---

---

Kevin Hicks

Best Man

Kevin and the groom became good friends in middle school. Though adult life separated them for some time, they reconnected when accidentally finding out they lived in the same apartment complex. Kevin and the bride also have known each other since middle school, as Kevin was best friends with her brother. Kevin often refers to the bride as "the closest thing to a sister he has ever had."

Rebekah "Bekah" Livingston

Maid of Honor

Bekah and the bride have been very best friends since the seventh grade, where they learned of countless similarities they shared, including their first and middle names. From eighth grade to now, Bekah and the bride have maintained a strong and loving long-distance friendship. They say they can always pick up right where they left off, even with thousands of miles and a three hour time difference standing in their way.

Stephen Shrewsbury

Groomsman

Stephen is the bride's older brother and has had a friendship with the groom since the sixth grade. Without this shared connection, the bride and groom may have never ended up together. They would have never guessed all those years ago that they would end up as brothers. As a child, Stephen was the bride's closest sibling relationship. They have many memories of silly childhood games such as weatherman in their dad's La-Z-Boy, wall ball and alligator, which were eventually banned from the house thanks to them both.

April Shrewsbury

Bridesmaid

April is the bride's youngest sister and also one of her closest friends. At age 21, the bride would joke that it was sad that her best friend was 14. The truth is there was and still is nothing sad about their friendship, a bond that can never be broken. April and the bride share many of the same interests, hobbies, talents, and humor. They like to joke that April is the upgraded version of the bride, as everything the bride is good at, April is better at. The bride says there is nobody else she would rather upstage her. April says there is absolutely nobody who could possibly upstage the bride on her big day.

Justin Knight

Groomsman

Justin has also been friends with both the bride and groom separately since middle school. Nowadays, Justin and Lita spend just as much time at the bride and groom's house as they do their own. Justin is known to be a goofball and always tells the bride to never take him seriously. The groom says Justin knows how to get under his skin more than anyone, but they both love him dearly.

Lita Knight

Bridesmaid

Lita or "Lita Bo Bita" as the bride likes to call her, befriended the bride and groom through shared friendships with her husband. Over the last few years, Lita and the bride have bonded over their shared love for crocheting and the drama of reality television shows. The bride and groom have Lita to thank for sharing the listing to their home with them. Now, the bride and groom live just down the road from Lita and Justin, strengthening their friendship even more.

Timothy "Tim" Lucy

Groomsman

Tim became the groom's roommate just a few weeks before the start of the bride and groom's relationship. Prior to this, Tim and the groom were also coworkers and good friends. From parties and undefeated cornhole tournaments to river floats, they have been known to get a little wild. Thanks to late nights playing Mario and frequent trips to baseball games together, the bride feels she has gained another brother in Tim and has always seen him as more than just the groom's friend and roommate.

Melissa Estes

Bridesmaid

Melissa and the bride have known each other since the third grade. Due to their shared stubbornness, they actually strongly disliked each other until the sixth grade, where they bonded on the bus ride to school over a shared annoyance with every girl's obsession with Justin Bieber. Invitations to family vacations and a frequent fib about needing to do homework together, led to them to be inseparable for much of middle school and high school. Even though Melissa lives in another state now, they can always pick back up where they left off.

Sean Cornfield

Groomsman

The groom first met Sean six years ago after reconnecting with old friends, as he is the brother-in-law of the best man. Sean and the groom quickly became friends through a shared interest of computers and gaming. Sean is an old soul who has a talent for whittling and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. You can always count on Sean for a good dad joke, a delicious meal, and a great outdoor movie night.

Rachel Shrewsbury

Bridesmaid

Rachel is the bride's younger sister, with whom she shared a room for most of her teenage years. Rachel is a bright mind and personality and has been a light for the bride in some of her most trying times. The bride can always count on her to give her a much needed laugh and to be her biggest hype woman. Rachel is talented musically and athletically, and never ceases to amaze the bride with all she is capable of.

Kyle Paris

Groomsman

Kyle and the groom first met ten years ago, as coworkers. Their similar humor got them through the days and formed a lasting friendship. They are known to go out for lunch or dinner, usually at the same three restaurants. If the groom is at the gym, you can bet that Kyle is there with him. Nowadays, the bride and groom live just three doors down from Kyle, who often joins them for walks with their dog.

Krystal Crawford

Bridesmaid

Krystal and the bride started out as coworkers. Krystal initially thought the bride was weird because the first thing she ever said to Krystal was "wow you are so pretty." Through shared time together and shared "work trauma," Krystal and the bride became fast friends. They can always count on each other to speak up on hard truths and even though they no longer work together, the bond they have built is unquestionably life-long.
