Parking for the ceremony and reception will be at the same location. Entrance faces Ave O. The parking lot is limited. Overflow parking on the street, on 27th Street (no parking meters) Park on the south bound side of 27th St. between Ursuline St and Ave O, which runs down the length of Kemper park (you will see the fence on the right) Walk to the corner of 27th St., make a right on Ave O. to get to the gate to parking lot entrance. *Provided on the back of the Details card in your invitation is a map. Galveston also has a lot of paid meter parking in the area. We recommend you download the app Paybyphone parking app if you are going to stay a few days. You will need it for the Seawall parking and for The Strand street parking spots and for some of the parking lots. The Island is small you may opt to take an Uber/Lift for safety. (We encourage everyone to have a good time and to drink responsibly)

Think, Sunday brunch attire, it’s dressy but not formal, effortless but not casual. Examples: Light, neutral colors, earth tones, floral prints, flowing dresses. Simple suits in spring colors: light blues, light greens, sand and grays. Gentlemen please wear your Ascot hats, vests, suspenders and/or bow ties to join in on our theme. Yes if named on your invitation We love your children but due to a limited budget and space ONLY children named are invited to attend. We hope parents enjoy the evening off to celebrate with us. To parents of the children we’ve included: if you’d like to attend the after party/St. Patrick’s day festivities, on the Strand please make arrangements for child care.
Yes, Galveston has lots of rentals, hotels and condos. Do what best fits your budget. Keep in mind the wedding is near the East end of the island. And during spring break, Galveston is busy. You could also use Xplorie.com. If you need help please let me know. We know the island pretty well.

St. Patrick's day, the weekend will be filled with many festive events. Bring your Green Attire, for the after party. Plan ahead because it's also Spring Break, so accommodations book up fast.
