We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with you

How we met

At first sight

Dec 15, 2015 We met at a local bar and grill. Green came in to met some friends there. I was alone. We noticed each other from down the bar. Eventually, we were the only two people in the entire restaurant when Green broke the ice with some small talk from across the bar. Then, I thought he’d left when he reappeared. We introduced ourselves and then we headed back to our seats (on opposite ends of the bar) — I figured that was that. But after watching me all evening; Green made his way down the bar and we got more acquainted and he invited me to go some place to dance. We bar hopped, ended up dancing to a jukebox at one place, had a sing-a-long to the radio sitting in his truck before arriving at the next place. It was the most randomly fun night, but when the night was over he almost forgot to ask my number. I made sure he got it. After that we saw each other almost everyday.

Our Love Grew

Greener and Greener

We just knew we wanted to be together, and moved in together a few months after we met. In 2018 we expanded our family when adopted our German Shepard, Justice and then adopted our second fur baby Liberty in 2019. Every Spring Break we make weekend trip to Galveston near St. Patrick’s Day. And every year we get all dressed up in green, partake in the festivities and have a special day together so, naturally we chose St. Patrick’s Day 2023 for our wedding day.

The Engagement

Lucky in Love

March 15, 2020, We headed out for our annual St. Patrick’s Day trip to Galveston. We joined the normal festivities and eventually we made our way back to Patrick’s bar. I was sitting outside on the patio, waiting for Green, when our favorite bartender comes out to tell me Green was getting in a headed debate with someone. So, I follow her inside through the sea of green dressed patrons to find him kneeled down with a ring. He and our bartender apparently had planned this surprise earlier in the day. She even took pictures and a video.

Without Dad

Wedding postponed to March 17, 2023

Our original wedding date was planned for March, 2022. As many of you know Dad pasted away in Aug 2021, just six months before from our wedding. His passing was sudden and unexpected. Without dad, planning our wedding was far to emotional. Although Dad had made a majority of the arrangements already, it’s still very difficult to imagine our special day without him. We hope we didn’t inconvenience anyones plans and we thank you for your understanding of the postponement. We are so excited about our wedding and can’t wait to see all of you very soon.
