Maid of Honor
Dina and Rebecca have been friends since college, when Dina used to make sure that Rebecca turned in her papers on time. Since then, they have explored the American South together on numerous "bestie vacations", sharing a love of thrift stores, barbecue, and packing as much into an itinerary as possible. Dina is an archivist in her professional life, and her hobbies include sewing, camping, and making the most of DC's cultural scene. An avid dressmaker, Dina's craftiness has earned her the title "Handmade of Honor". Rebecca couldn't be more thrilled to have a friend who has always loved her just the way she is standing by her side on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Emily is Dan's sister, and Rebecca feels so lucky to be getting such a kind, funny, and genuine sister-in-law. Her sense of adventure is evident in her love of travel and her penchant for any tough physical challenge. She has an infectious laugh and is a devoted, levelheaded friend. Emily lives and works in Atlanta, and we are so happy anytime she can come spend time with us. We know she'll infuse our wedding with so much joy.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie is Rebecca's cousin, and her killer sense of humor means the laughs don't stop. It's easy to see why all her friends cherish her and appreciate her sense of adventure. An event planner by trade, she is obviously the most organized member of the bridal party, and her attention to detail makes everything better. Stephanie & Rebecca have come a long way since their days of playing in their grandmother's store and stealing meatballs off the stove before dinner, but they still have just as much fun.
Bridesmaid
Natalie is Rebecca's cousin, and their relationship was solidified by many, many years of summer vacations on the Jersey shore celebrating their birthdays together. She and Rebecca once made a bucket list together, but Natalie's talents, achievements, and gifts go far beyond what we hoped to accomplish in our early twenties. Natalie is worldly, witty, and kind, and always available to lend an ear, give advice, and cheer you up.
Best Man
Ian and Dan met when they were 16 and working as junior counselors at Stonybrook Day Camp. They immediately connected over their shared love of all things music and their friendship grew over countless hours jamming in Ian's basement through high school and college. They can usually be found playing guitar when they're together and debriefing the latest concert set list when they're not.
Groomsman
Josh is Dan's brother and Dan is honored to have Josh's caring, helpful and jovial presence with him. Josh is always up for a good conversation and his infectious enthusiasm brings life to every party. Josh and Dan can usually be found lamenting the Mets' recent loss while still trying to make it to Citi Field to catch another game.
Groomsman
Jay and Dan have been friends for 15 years. Even though Jay recently relocated to Buffalo to practice dentistry, they have found more time to spend together than you would think for friends who live 6 hours apart. Jay is an impressively talented guitarist and he and Dan are always ready to jam. Jay has the ability to make Dan laugh at any moment, so if he’s trying to stifle giggles on the big day, you’ll know why.
Groomsman
Seth is one of Dan’s oldest friends, dating back to Shongum Elementary School. From long nights of playing video games with his brothers Matt and Al to countless marching band and jazz band rehearsals, Dan and Seth didn’t spend much time apart in middle and high school. Seth made a career out of his musical ability and is a high school band director in Austin.
Officiant
Having seen Bruce Springsteen in concert a combined total of 122 times, Tom and Mozy have proven themselves beyond qualified to perform our ceremony in the language of all things New Jersey, humor, and rock and roll. They approached Dan at a Gaslight Anthem show because he was wearing a Phish t-shirt and the rest is history. When all four of them are together, lively debates about Brian Fallon's best work ensue. Dan & Rebecca could not be more appreciative of the effort that Tom and Mozy have put into performing their marriage, and they hope it was a labor of love that will highlight the partnership they've built.
