We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

Is there anywhere more romantic than a financial aid office? Technically we met the Wednesday before medical school began, but we really did not talk until we both had to speak to financial aid (what can we say - med school is a pricey penny). Dane went first and when he left I was sad he wasn't waiting for me! Then when I walked to the elevator after my appointment, there he was holding the elevator for me. Needless to say the alarms were going off from it taking so long. I didn't know if this meant he liked me or if people from Nebraska were just this nice! Thankfully soon I figured out it was the prior and not long after we had our first date at Cafe du Monde, a 10 minute walk from where our first apartment would be.
