We’re Getting Married!

It all began in 2015, when fate brought Becky and Connor together, working side by side at their best friend's restaurant, Ziniz. From the very first moment, an unspoken connection sparked between them, and what started as a simple friendship quickly blossomed into something deeper. Connor, always thoughtful and sweet, made sure Becky’s busy Saturday night shifts were a little brighter by surprising her with her favourite chocolate bars. But it wasn’t just the little treats that made him special, he would slip handwritten notes into her coat pocket, little messages for her to discover later, when she returned home. It was clear from the start that Connor was a romantic at heart. As the months passed, their bond only grew stronger. They spent countless evenings on long drives, their hearts full of conversation, laughter, and dreams. Sometimes, they’d park in front of the Jackson’s house, losing track of time as they talked for hours beneath the stars. It was in those quiet moments, when the world seemed to stop around them, that they both realised how much they meant to each other. In 2016, on a weekend getaway to Harrogate, Connor gathered his courage and asked Becky to be his girlfriend. From that day on, they were inseparable, exploring the world hand in hand. Their adventures took them to Rome, where they shared their first holiday together, and later to Bali, a place that would forever hold a special place in their hearts. In 2020, just before the world came to a standstill, they made another huge step, buying their first home together. Locked inside during the long months of lockdown, they discovered a shared love for DIY projects, transforming their house into a home with their own hands, just as they had been building their lives together. Their love for adventure never faded. They continued to travel, their hearts always yearning for the next destination. And then, in December 2023, they found themselves in New York, both unaware that this magical city would become the place where everything changed. Amidst the glittering skyline, Connor, with all the love he had for Becky, finally got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. And here we are, preparing to celebrate the most exciting chapter of our story yet. The adventure of a lifetime, together.
