Cave of the mounds gives visitors a unique journey where they will see an exciting variety of stalagmites, columns, stalactites and other formations. Cave of the Mounds formed over millions of years as acidic water from the surface leached into the ground. Once in the ground, this acidic water began eroding limestone deposits deep inside the earth. Over time, these unique erosion patterns lead to the formation of the cavern. Chris and I love looking at different kinds of geodes, and whenever we come across one, I ask Chris if I should get it for him, even if it's way too giant and way too expensive.
Bevy Brewery and Winery gives their guests the opportunity to see each part of the brewing/winemaking process. You can go for an official tasting, or stop in for something on tap.
Something that makes the wedding day even more special, is that the date is also Grandpa Joe's birthday. Rebecca's grandfather would have turned 96 years old on 10/10/2025. The first time that Grandpa Joe took Rebecca's mom and Uncle to the Dells area, they stopped at Paul Bunyan's for a meal. Grandpa Joe was so hungry, that when the waitress brought what appeared to be a small bowl of soup to the table, Grandpa Joe drank every last drop. When the waitress came back and Grandpa Joe asked for more soup, everyone was shocked when the waitress told them that no soup had been brought to the table, but it in fact, had been gravy. If you have a chance, stop at Paul Bunyan's and try the gravy for Grandpa Joe!
