Echo Hill Orchards & Winery
We thoroughly enjoyed sampling Echo Hill's moonshine flavors. They also offer wine, slushies, and mixed drinks - also in the form of flights! Their fall schedule is not available yet, but they tend to have food trucks on the weekends. Let us know what you think if you stop by!
Board & Brush Creative Studio
We really enjoyed the process of creating our personalized home decor. It is BYOB and no mess to clean up, it's a win-win! Please note, it is required you book an event in advance. They also offer private group sessions upon request if you don't see an event that works for you.
Rice Fruit Farm
This is a great local bakery/sandwich shop with coffee, baked goods (we love their stuffed muffin tops), and local goodies to-go.
Laughing Brook Wildlife Sanctuary
This is the closest activity to our wedding venue - it is a trail that you may explore on your own or take part in walking tours and classes.
Vanished Valley Brewing
If craft beer and good eats sounds good to you, spend some time in their tap room or take a few four-packs to go!
Forest Park
Forest park is a 735-acre, multi-area park that is open year-round. You may recognize it as the location of "Bright Nights" during the holidays. This is where we took our most recent set of engagement photos. Please note, it is a $5 fee to park for the day.

The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum
Springfield is the birthplace of Dr. Seuss, featuring a 5-museum compound. There is also a sculpture garden at the center of the museums, which is free!
