Amalia Ramirez

Maid of Honor

My pigeon (as we like to affectionately call each other) has been a constant pillar of support. Though we grew up in church together, life brought us much closer more recently. Our friendship has deepened through late night talks, constant jokes, and words of affirmation. A lover of pink and with a talent for calligraphy, don't be surprised to see her writing on our wedding signs!

Roland "Polis" Milani

Best Man

The greatest gift that my parents ever gave me was my little brother. A great example of what it means to be quiet and hard working. Of course, an amazing goofball and a soft humble spirit to be around. Phenomenal artist, lover of the ocean, and a decent workout trainer. All in all, just an amazing brother to have in my life.

Kayee Au

Bridesmaid

Prima! No seriously, people at SC always thought we were cousins. Some of it may be due to our ethnic ambiguity but I believe a lot of it was & is because of our undeniable connection. We instantly clicked & were friends before we even moved in together freshmen year, sharing our feelings about graduating high school, drama with classmates, & our excitement for the future. Our adventures at SC are unforgettable. We binged TV episodes, went to football games, stayed up late for school work (well that was mostly her...but I was there in spirit & also physically since I was asleep just a few feet away), traveled to Hawaii on a volunteer trip, & almost burned our dorm room down. Her adventurous soul has taken her to faraway places, but our friendship remains constant & unbreakable.

Luis "Lalas" Garcia

Groomsman

PURA VIDA MAI!!! I still recall the first game we ever played together... hackysack! Very much an older brother in my life. My better (and much nicer) half on the soccer field even though I was a bit better on the pitch. Constantly saving me from getting into confrontations with other players and yelling at me to stop fighting and getting into trouble. We all need a friend that mellows us out. That is who he is. Always being an amazing support in my life and helping me get through school (especially AP Spanish Lit.) and just being a Man of God.

Coky Carreon

Bridesmaid

My big sister and I are 11 years apart in age! Of course, things were a little different when I was 5, with pigtails and the annoying habit of chewing with my mouth open, and she was 16 with college decisions looming ahead. But our bond as sisters remained and continues to deepen as we grow together. She is, of course, someone that I've always looked up to and hold as a standard of what it means to be a strong, independent, and resilient woman. She speaks her mind but does so with grace. She empathizes and seeks to understand other people's perspectives. She dedicates her work in helping people but also how knows how to practice self-care. But, most importantly, she loves her golden retriever, Buddy.

Gerson "Ketchup" Alvarado

Groomsman

Ketchup! Cousin by definition, brother by love! Another example of what it means to be an older brother. I remember so many adventures we would get into in Guatemala when I would come and visit. I remember the night when he arrived and we picked him up, how excited I was to see him. The excitement is still on going, whenever we hang out, go on an adventure or just watch Titanic (His favorite movie) Gerson has always been a hard working man and continuously shows me that hard work truly does pay off.

Min Shan Lin

Bridesmaid

We met at USC at a bible study and our goofy souls clicked instantly! So much so, that we decided to get an apartment together for our last two years in undergrad. She has seen me at my best and my worst and endured as an amazing, supportive, and caring friend all the way through. From our Tacos El Unico runs to our brownie mug mishaps, Min Shan is someone who sparks joy in my life.

Eli "B" Bonilla

Groomsman

My main B! The head mafia Boss! I can recall so many great adventures of us going out to dinner after church, going to camps and retreats together, ditching in the middle of a Sunday service to go to Starbucks to get a frappuccino. Getting into trouble for us was a constant thing... but we always stuck by each other. Always being the smartest in the group when it came to bible memorization and being able to talk us out of trouble. Saved my life too many times. We all need a friend that gets us going and pushes us. That is what he is.

Alexis Alejo

Bridesmaid

Alexis is my long-time childhood friend who has blossomed into an amazingly talented photographer and Instagrammable hipster! She loves all things Disney and is not afraid to tell you what's on her mind (a quality that I deeply admire). It's amazing to be close to my childhood friend and to share this special moment with her.

Michael "Bubba" Carbon

Groomsman

Lord Farquad! Mi frattello! Lives in the East coast but has a huge heart for West coast! It is never ever ever a boring time around Bubba. He is always wanting to go somewhere, go explore, go see and check stuff out. I remember my first time coming out to Connecticut in the summer and it was just back to back adventure outside of the house and hours upon hours of playing video games in the basement. Just a loving heart and a goofball to always make you laugh and feel welcomed.
