Can I bring a guest?

Answer

All extra guests will be noted on an RSVP by name or by "plus one". If we have missed a significant other, let me know!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely kids are welcome! Any children who are considered in the meal count (any child who will get their own plate) will be listed on the RSVP. If you think we forgot someone, let me know! We will not include really young children on the RSVP who won't get their own plate but they are definitely welcome!

Where will the celebrations take place?

The Ceremony will be held at the Grant E Free Church in Grant, NE at 3:00 PM MST. The reception will be held in Grant, NE at the Perkins County Fair Grounds Dance Hall.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Casual is the vision, but come how you feel comfortable or use it as an excuse to wear your best!

Is there a registry?

Answer

Your attendance and thoughts are gift enough for our big day, but if you would like to bring a gift, anything you would like to bless us with as we start our new journey is welcome! As we already own a home and have just about everything we need, we've added just a few things to help update our home! We do however have many visions for our home, so in addition to a registry, we have opted to post a "Honeymoon Fund" link, and a "Home Improvement Fund" link. Some of the gifts we have listed on the registry are set up as "group gifts" meaning you can contribute whatever you want towards the gift or purchase the whole gift.

Since Grant, NE is such a small town, guests will have to get rooms in Ogallala, NE about 20 minutes away. There will be more information under our travel page.

The Area

Answer

Grant is a pretty small town, but has a few amazing places to eat! DJ's bar and Little Blue Stem are pretty great! Ogallala has a Walmart and other grocery stores. Our favorite place to eat in Ogallala is Golden Village, a Chinese restaurant. Paxton, NE is just off the interstate and is not too far from Ogallala either! It has the interstate attraction, Ole's where you can eat dinner next to a trophy polar bear, moose, or giraffe. Across the street from Ole's is The Windy Gap, a place to get a fantastic steak and hash browns.

Transportation

Answer

As of right now, we do not have transportation from Ogallala to Grant. We will have a bar at the reception in Grant, about 20 minutes away from Ogallala. Please plan ahead with others who may be attending to arrive back to your hotel safely. There may be plans to provide some shuttles in the future, but in the mean time none will be provided.
