Javi and Becca entered Christendom for their freshmen year in the Fall of 2019. Javi confidently made the rounds and prided himself on meeting all his classmates. That was proven wrong when he asked Becca to dance at the Winter Formal and innocently asked, “So, are you visiting Christendom?” Since then, they became friendly and only really started becoming friends when they shared their first class together which happened to be a Theology course on the sacraments. Yes, their professor claims to be part of the reason they are together, especially after the section on Holy Matrimony. Three years later, here they are excited to spend the rest of their lives together with all their family and friends.
Rebecca Kaminski
Bride
Becca met Javi in college, but only began to be interested romantically senior year when she asked him to Sadie's. It was only after they'd both finished their theses and Javi finished Mystery Dinner Theatre that they decided to date- which only left one month of school left! Not only that, but they were long distance for a year until Becca moved back to VA. Throughout these trials, their sense of humor, love for the faith, and commitment to each other kept them together. Now they are ready to tie the knot and make a home together! Becca can't wait to celebrate with all her friends and family, and she asks for your prayers along the way!!
Ricardo Madan
Best Man
Although Ricardo is just one year younger than Javi, their personalities could not be more different. Sure, Ricardo may be better at soccer, but who even notices that? Obviously, the real mark of a man is who can do their taxes best. Despite these differences, Javi has a great deal of respect for Ricardo in many ways. Like the virtues of patience, perseverance, and loyalty. That's why there's no one more qualified to stand by his side at his wedding.
Emma Kaminski
Matron of Honor
Emma is one of the Bride's sisters and loved growing up with a built-in best friend (even though they got into their fair share of squabbles). She and the bride rely on each other's strengths regularly: Emma doesn't know where she would be without Becca's type A personality and organization, and Becca often benefits from having a sister with an artistic eye. Emma is so excited for her sister and Javi, and she couldn't be happier for the pair.
Nicolas Salas
Groomsman
Nico Salas is the cousin of the groom, but he has a bond with Javi that perhaps goes even deeper- the strong camaraderie of working at the illustrious UPS Store together. Besides that, they share a love for games, films, and most importantly, making baby cousins laugh. Everyone knows Nico for his quiet and calm demeanor, but the virtues Javi respects and loves most about him are his humility and earnestness.
Annemarie Kaminski
Maid of Honor
Annemarie grew up as the youngest sister of Becca, happily following in her older sister's footsteps. If Becca loved books and coffee, Annemarie loved books and coffee too. While she has since grown into her own individuality, she still deeply admires and looks up to her sister. Annemarie is so excited to officially welcome Javi as her new brother in law-- and her newest sibling to look up to.
Gerard Adams
Groomsman
Gerard is Javi’s closest friend who throughout college was with him through thick and thin. Like all good friendships, it started as one of utility. Gerard had a car and Javi did not- but Javi did not ask him to be a groomsman just because of that. His love for his wife, Gwyneth, and daughter, Adeline, as well as his devotion to the Catholic faith are something that Javi tries to emulate and will continue to pursue as he starts his own family.

Beatriz is the groom's younger sister and had the privilege of spending her freshman year alongside Becca and Javi during their senior year. She can't wait to celebrate with them and is praying for their future marriage!
Joshua Forbes
Groomsman
Javi and Josh have gotten along ever since the two of them performed All Star by Smash Mouth during the Karaoke night of the first week of school. From then, they have always gotten along on account of their similar interests and senses of humor. Everyone who has met Josh will tell you what an optimistic and pleasant guy he is, but he is also one of the most self-giving and faithful people there is, which has not gone unnoticed by those who know him well.
Isabel Cleary
Bridesmaid
Isabel and Becca met at Christendom and had the chance to deepen their friendship during a semester in Rome. After many international adventures (getting lost on the trains, exploring art galleries, and trying gelato in every city), it's easy to say the real treasure has always been the laughs and friendship shared along the way, both abroad and domestically. Isabel is excited to celebrate Becca and Javi as they tie the knot. She knows it will be another wonderful memory with an amazing friend. Cheers!
Daniel Lovelace

Javi met Daniel last of all his groomsmen, when Javi went into his room in the middle of the night dressed as Benjamin Franklin while eating Taco Bell. It’s a long story. Despite this weird interaction, he and Daniel became friends due to their similar sense of humor. As they grew in their friendship, Daniel’s intelligence and academic curiosity became very apparent, which is something for which Javi greatly admires him.
Christina Cole

Christina is a close friend of Becca's from college; they spent many hours together laughing, studying, and talking about boys. She loves cooking, spending time with her niece and nephew, and is extremely excited to be a part of Javi and Becca's big day!
Charles Fuller
Groomsman
Charles and Javi have known each since the first days in college when, for whatever reason, their classmates frequently mistook them for each other. Since then, they've participated in the Debate Society together and shared quite a few political conversations (mostly rants) together. What Javi most admires him for is the deep love Charles gained for his faith since his Baptism freshman year, which has been very inspiring to all who know him.
Zoe Frisch

Zoe met Becca freshman year of college when they frequently found themselves in their friends' rooms way past their bedtime. (Who needs to study anyway?) Though Zoe and Becca are very different, they bonded over their love of laughter, joyful energy, sharing hot beverages, and, of course, hanging out with their good friend Javi. Zoe has enjoyed watching (firsthand) Javi and Becca's relationship blossom from mere acquaintances to the fabulous couple they are today. She is so excited to celebrate this special Sacrament with them!
TJ Yee
Groomsman
Reliable. Supportive. Hilarious. But enough about the words TJ would use to describe Javi. In all seriousness, Javi and TJ walked very similar paths which led them to be very close friends. Whether it was joining the Chester Belloc Debate Society, writing Mystery Dinner Theater or becoming RAs the same year, the two of them seemed to be in lockstep on top of TJ being involved in a million other things. But despite his busy schedule, one thing that anyone will tell you about TJ is that he will always make time for the people he cares about.
Eva Simons

Eva met Becca during their mission year with the Seton Teaching Fellows in the Bronx. Although their friendship was originally friendly and sweet, quickly they learned that they share a sarcastic, spicy personality which comes out only for true friends. They connected about the fact that they both went to small Catholic colleges (though Eva insists Becca made the wrong choice). They also taught kindergartners together until Eva (rudely) abandoned her to serve another grade in need. Together they helped each other through an incredibly challenging year full of both tears and laughter, which created an incredible friendship bond.
Jacob Stevens

Jake first met Javi at the Christendom Summer Program. They got along so well that they decided to become roommates. During his sophomore year, Jake became an RA, a job no one envied. However, his commitment to his residents inspired Javi to step up to do the same. His generosity, optimism, and incredible variety of cardigans are just some of the attributes that make him an ideal groomsman.
Faith Newbold

Faith and Becca met at St. John Paul the Great High School where they've been teaching together for two years. They've bonded over coffee, book dates, and plenty of lesson planning yap sessions. Becca and Faith have helped each other through the highs and lows of the first years of teaching, which has strengthened a beautiful friendship. Faith is incredibly excited to celebrate the couple and get to be a part of Becca's and Javi's big day!
