When we were both 14, we met at the Vine, a home school co-op that met every week at Washington Valley Chapel in Morristown. Rebecca's first impression of Ben was that he was mute, and Ben's first impression was that he hated this new co-op. However, by sophomore year of high school, Ben started to speak more, and things started to move along! Rebecca and Ben formed a friendship that consisted of one lined zingers and sarcastic remarks. Those close to each asked early on, "Why don't you date the other?" To which both thought, "They're way too similar to ourselves! If we wanted to date ourselves, we could without spending the extra cash!" However, we continued our friendship throughout high school. Once college rolled around, we stayed in touch online until the final semester of county college where we decided to meet at Ben's then-favorite restaurant The Committed Pig! Rebecca was very insulted that Ben had never taken her there previously, since it was right around the corner from her house, and Ben took anyone he could there. So, we finally went together and discovered how much each we had changed and how much we enjoyed each other's company! The rest is all hikes and beach trips and cooking wonderful meals!
