In fall of 2022, Boyne Mountain opened the world's longest timber-towered suspension bridge to walk amongst the trees. It's the perfect activity for late September.

Avalanche Mountain
Avalanche 'Mountain' is arguably the best spot to view the city of Boyne City. A short hike up 400+ stairs brings you to a spot overlooking Lake Charlevoix and, in September, the beauty of fall colors.
Lake Street Market
Another lunch-time favorite. The best spot to snag a sandwich in Boyne City. Beca's favorites: Cool sandwich, Caesar salad or the Lizzie pizza.

Whether you choose to stay for dinner or stop by for a margarita, you will not be disappointed. Red Mesa has some of the best food & drinks in town.
Roast & Toast
Beca's all-time favorite lunch spot. It's a must-visit if you are in the Petoskey area. Beca's favorites: The Blackwich (housemade blackened chicken, Plath’s bacon, toasted bread, tomato, avocado, leaf lettuce, swiss, and housemade bleu cheese pesto mayo) and Rob's Chai High.
The Back Lot Beer Garden
The Backlot is a casual beer garden with a variety of food trucks and Michigan beers to choose from. It is pet- and kid-friendly and has a bunch of large tv's to catch the big weekend sports games.
