Maid of Honor
We became friends in high school while doing Track, Basketball, Weights Class, Choir, Student Gov... together. You'd think we would have gotten tired of each other!! Nope, just more fond. Sai has been a patient and gracious friend for years, speaking calm into my anxieties and comforting me in pain, all while making sure my sass never went unmatched! And as we live more life, we've come to share similar pains, and knowing we're kind of in it together (the "my daddy is sick" thing) is so comforting. Her, and her family, know how to love.

Matron of Honor
On the same night at youth group, we voiced to our mutual mentor that we felt like we had no friends -- and so, the stubborn feudal years ended and we began what would be a beautiful friendship. Praise the Lord for that day. Our friendship has been so constant since, enduring distance and heartache and change. I never doubt that she has my back, that she will listen to my hurts and speak soothing & sanctifying Truth to me. She is gentle, yet powerfully giggly, and her heart is seeped in Jesus' love. She's a blessing, for sure.

My oldest "sissy." We've known each other since my birthday (like, the first one), but we've truly become sisters over the last few years. As we've shared in the heartache of our daddy's sickness, and I've learned more about her life and her heart, we have become dear friends. I admire her strength, her laugh, her creativity, and her love of grey (hehe). What a blessing to have HER as my "seester," and to know that we'll grow even closer through the years to come.

We've known each other for all my years, and you can tell because I'm pretty much just like her!! We make LOTS of silly faces (see^^) and love singing along to Disney songs (very loudly) and we both cry pretty often because we are more sensitive than we'd like to admit. And some people say we look alike. She is my big sister, and not just because I stole her spot as "baby of the family," but because she has so helped me become the woman I am today. (I really don't think we look alike? ;) )

My first roommate: she shared generously, forgave my not-used-to-sharing habits, allowed me to know her deepest wounds, played lots of Latino music so I could practice dancing, and listened to my every worry. Yes, she was wonderful to live with, but even since she has been forgiving of my imperfections and constantly encourages me. A roommate-sister-friend who has loved my sassy self so well - and kept me laughing through it all!
