We met at college in December of our freshman year. We actually met by accident, but it turned out that our accidental introduction and eventual friendship would be one of the greatest joys we'd ever receive from the Lord!

I didn't see what the big deal was. He seemed really bro-ish, aaaand I thought that was annoying...but, then I noticed his smile. Who couldn't?! That's where the trouble started hehe!

I didn't think much of anything really. I thought she was pretty cool, and eventually I thought she was an amazing friend, but it never even crossed my mind to date her...until she told me she liked me months later!!

We started hanging out with our mutual friend, Alex, at the end of our first college semester and the three of us became a close trio of friends throughout the next semester. We two became really, really close friends, and while I (Santi) thought we were just friends, Reba had liked me most of that whole second semester which she confessed to me just two weeks before we left for summer break. I turned her down, only to realize that night that I'd made a horrible mistake, and after freaking out for three days, I sat down with her to talk. I told her that I'd hardly noticed how amazing of a woman and loyal friend she had been and had continued to be (how I hadn't noticed, I still don't know!), but now that I realized it, I was head over heels for her. We started dating a week later.

HIS EYES. They are so kind - and just so cute!! But I also love his gentleness - he is my safest place.

She's a gentle companion. Patient and forgiving, yet strong. Her patience, gentleness, and forgiveness soften my fearful and calloused heart, and her strength upholds me in my weakness. ...Oh, and I LOVE her adorable cheeks! Especially when she smiles all big! :)
