We're Getting Married!

DeAnna and Alex's story began in the summer of 2015 when they first crossed paths while working at Trestle Bike Park. They were just work acquaintances at the time, sharing casual conversations between shifts. However, in the summer of 2016, when DeAnna moved to Winter Park, something started to change. As the months passed, so did their friendship, growing deeper with every laugh, every shared moment. Alex, already a dog lover, was quickly smitten—not just by DeAnna, but also by her two adorable fur babies, Danker and Dottie. Over the past seven years, they’ve created countless memories together, navigating life's highs and lows, and growing stronger through every challenge. Along the way, their little family grew, too, as they welcomed two more fur babies, Theodore and Kora, into their lives. But after so many beautiful moments together, DeAnna couldn’t help but wonder when Alex would pop the next big question. After months of casually sending pictures of rings to his phone with captions like "engagement ideas" and "engagement rings" (hoping the algorithm might catch on), and recruiting friends to drop hints and plant the idea, DeAnna’s anticipation grew. Little did she know, Alex was already one step ahead. In December, during a cozy evening surrounded by their closest friends, Alex, completely on his own accord, surprised DeAnna by getting down on one knee and asking the question she'd been dreaming of: "Will you marry me?" Spoiler alert: she said yes! And now, they can’t wait to start their next chapter together.
