What's all this about swords?

Answer

Mike and Bridget share a love of games, tabletop, video, and otherwise, and we thought a D&D vibe would be fun! We wouldn't recommend bringing (real) weapons for anything other than ceremonial and photo reasons, and all real and semi-real weaponry will be secured before cocktail hour.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

PLEASE DO! We have myriad food allergies and a great caterer, please disclose ALL allergies! We will do our best to accommodate you and provide prior notice of menu items as required.

Fun fact about the venue

Answer

The Booking House was a cigar warehouse initially constructed in 1884. As a tribute to this, they have dedicated the top floor of the venue to a cigar smoking lounge. There are cigars available for purchase or you may feel free to provide your own.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

For space reasons, we are keeping children to a limited basis as indicated on your invitation. If in doubt, please reach out to us. We are also aware that child care may be required during the event (even if kids are allowed), and so we'd welcome you to reach out if there is interest in a group babysitter/childcare option during our wedding.

How do I opt in to the Renaissance Faire? (RSVP for group rate past)

Answer

RSVP for Ren Faire has passed, please book directly with them for day of ticketing if possible. These events DO sell out! For Ren Faire on October 26th, we have to prepay to get the group rate and we want to socialize the price to make sure you can make an informed decision before you opt in because we don't want anyone to be caught out by price! Adults are $35.95 Children (5-11) are $12.95 Children under 5 are free (thank you for your service, parents of under 5 children) This is about a $5 discount to their peak rate based on annoying hidden fees to buy tickets online. We would love if you could reply on our website or to us individually with your number of adults and children. Feel free to bring additional people and take advantage! We are a fairly unruly mob and will certainly be split up and remerge throughout the day, our only demand is a group photo at a time that works for most people, watch this space for that timing! Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at The Booking House across the street in the gravel lot. We will utilize Uber vouchers for free rides home from the venue that will work throughout the weekend. Please contact us directly for the code. If you do choose to leave your car behind after our wedding, we ask that you come to collect it the next morning (September 26th) by 9 AM.

Formal festive - Example: Now is the time to break out the extremely festive suit, or the crazy floral shirt!

Is there anything guests should NOT wear?

The bride requests no one (else) wear white!
