These girls are near and dear to my heart. I've met them in different ways and have shared some of my most challenging and most exciting moments with them. I know I can count on them no matter what.
AKA the Fellowship
The fellowship shares a unique friendship together. I met the boys in high school, or shortly after, and we've bonded over mutual interests like gaming, mead, and camping. We have been able to maintain our friendship over the years through gaming together, whether that be on Xbox, table games (which Bre still kicks our butts), or by playing DnD together. It's never a dull moment when we're together! I'm happy to have them each as a groomsmen and know that they will do a fine job.
Matron of Honor
Michelle is one of my dearest friends, even though we can't remember how our friendship actually started. We met in college through our sorority and over the years have shared so many pots of coffee, traveled many miles together blasting and signing along to Taylor Swift, have enjoyed countless wine and cheese nights, and virtual happy hours. We are kindred spirits who love to organize and follow a plan, slowly learning to be more spontaneous. I'm so lucky to have her by my side!
Best Man
Stew and I have come a long way from cracking jokes in French class. For the last ten years we have spent many long nights on Xbox, quite a few drunken days at Renaissance festivals and our fair share of groggy mornings on camping trips. There's no one I'd rather have than my Dungeon Master as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Bre is my other "other half" since the first day of sorority recruitment in 2011. Fate, well our last names, put us in the same recruitment group and we immediately connected over the spelling of our nicknames and living situation and eventually joined the same sorority. Many inside moments were created over the years, especially from living together. The physical distance between us has allowed for great traveling adventures and the "breeze" has only grown stronger over the years.
Groomsman
It took me well over year to actually meet Mitch in person; Stewart and Olivier had befriended him after I had graduated high school and absolutely insisted that we all hang out together. He's been one of my best friends ever since. If there's one person that likes Bre's mojitos more than I do, it's him.
Bridesmaid
Jess and I date our friendship back to Mrs. Main's second grade class. We've shared countless embarrassing moments together throughout elementary school and beyond. She even helped draft texts to Curtis when we were all in high school! No matter how much space is between us or how much time passes, our friendship stays as strong as when it started so many years ago. She is a true testament to how distance means so little when someone means so much.
Groomsman
Olivier, where would I be without him? Probably still stuck in French class... French 2 would have certainly been a lot harder without his help and a lot less fun. By far one of my best friends, we had the best talks while we were delivering pizza.
Bridesmaid
Libbie and I owe our friendship to a bag and never have I been more thankful for an accessory. I spotted the same green and pink sorority bag across the classroom auditorium on the first day of college and moved to go sit by her. Libbie has been such an amazing and loyal friend since that day and still remains my "boyfriend" (our fiancés are aware). I have so many fond memories with Libbie, even though we rarely get photos together, despite having signature pose.
Groomsman
Sammy was the last to join our little group but we immediately hit it off. He joined our Xbox party one day and we've been best friends ever since. If there's anyone I can count on to crack up at an obscure reference that I've made, it's Sam.
