Is there a room block?

Our wedding is taking place at the Hotel Ynez, a small boutique hotel, which we’ve reserved for the weekend. Because there are only a handful of rooms, we’ll be reaching out directly about on-site availability via email. We also have some lovely nearby hotels listed on our “Local Stays” page.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Courtyard Garden Glam! Think semi-formal attire that includes bold summer hues, fun fabrics and textures, or soft neutrals with pops of color. We'd love to see everyone dress up so longer dresses and semi-formal suits are encouraged! Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the courtyard at the Hotel Ynez. Since our wedding is in August, we’re expecting warm weather while being shaded by the surrounding oak trees.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We don’t mind if you’d like to capture a few photos or short videos! We just ask that everyone be mindful of our photographer, please avoid blocking their view or filming the entire ceremony.

Can I bring a plus-one or children?

Answer

We’re keeping things small and sweet! To help us celebrate in a close circle, invitations are for invited guests only. Thank you for understanding.
