What better day to celebrate the lifetime of love ahead of us than on the day we made this commitment to each other 11 years ago. Going back to 2015, Matteo and I were 15 and 16 years old fresh with drivers permits and a crush on each other. For how silly some may think the teenage years can be, Matteo and I knew we wanted nothing but to be together forever. After being inseparable over that summer, we finished our break hiking down to Torrey Pines beach, where Matteo would then ask me to be his girlfriend. As years passed, we traveled to 5 countries, finished high school, served on humanitarian missions, faced hard family matters, moved away for college, celebrated graduations, including Matteo getting his Master’s degree, and lastly, set off to begin our careers. This would all lead us to 9 years later, in May of 2024, when Matteo, with the help of a few friends, orchestrated a dream proposal. Just the two of us on the cliffs of Del Mar, looking out at Torrey Pines beach, the same beach where it all began, reflecting on how far we’ve come. The moment is finally here for us to tie the official knot and get married! We couldn't be more excited to share this special date with our closest friends and family.
