Question

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of free parking available.

Where should we stay that is close to the venue?

Answer

The closest hotel is the Hampton Inn & Suites San Diego/Poway located at 14068 Stowe Dr. Poway, CA 92064. If you are booking a room at the hotel, mention the MacIntosh-Reis Wedding as we have a handful of rooms blocked for our guests.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided to and from the hotel. There is plenty of free parking at our venue so we recommend you determine a DD in your group or please take a Lyft/Uber to get to and from the wedding safely.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal dress. Feel free to go for a more relaxed look than what’s required at a formal black-tie event but remember it's a wedding, no matter the dress code, is still a special event that deserves an out-of-the-ordinary outfit. There are cobblestone paths and some grass areas around the property, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes that are easy to walk in.

Any other special attire notes we should know?

Answer

Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night, and since the cocktail hour will be outside, you might want to bring a jacket or wrap.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will there be dancing / entertainment?

Answer

Um, you've met us, right? Of course there will be dancing! We expect you to bring your moves. Dance circles, dance battles, and all other forms of dancing are welcomed.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ReadyForSomeMaction so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Where are you registered?

Answer

Remember, we are opting out of a traditional registry and only doing a honeymoon fund. All donations, regardless of size, are extremely appreciated.
