The nearest airport to Galveston is Houston Hobby (HOU). Southwest, Delta and American all fly into this location for your convenience. It is roughly a 45 min - 1 hr drive to Galveston, depending on traffic. Please note that there is some construction present on I-45 just north of the bridge that crosses Galveston Bay.

There is a courtyard pool, a balcony bar and a few dining options as well on the premises. Great place to stay if you want to hear the waves from your window! Also, it's only a few minutes from the Galvez and Sacred Heart.
