Question
Where should I stay in Galveston?
Answer
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Lucine Hotel on Seawall Blvd! Question
What do you mean by "formal attire?"
Answer
With our wedding being at a Catholic Mass, we ask that you wear, at a minimum, your Sunday best. Suit and tie for men is most appropriate. Denim is not preferred and tuxedos are not necessary. Please, no shorts. Either cocktail or floor length dresses are appropriate for ladies. There is no required color, but blues, greens and coastal patterns would complement the weekend nicely.

What is the best way to get around Galveston?
Answer
We recommend flying into Hobby airport, where both Southwest & American fly. From there, renting a car from Hobby to get to/around Galveston will provide you and your family the most flexibility. Uber/Lyft are also easily available around the island.

Will there be transportation provided between Mass & the reception?
Answer
We will not be providing transportation between hotels or the church for the wedding day. If you do drive/rent a car, there is a parking lot at the Church during the Wedding Mass and there are many options for parking for the reception. At the Hotel Galvez, valet parking will be available. A paid self-parking garage is located across the street from the Galvez with an entrance off Moody Avenue and the Seawall, which is adjacent to the reception hall (SP+ Parking on Google). There is also street parking available all around the hotel, however, most street spots have a 2 hour limit. If you do not have a car or need a safe ride home, please use Uber or Lyft.

Are kids or plus ones invited to the wedding?
Answer
The RSVP for you and your guests will be specific for all invitees in your household/family in order to select dinner options per person. If a guest is missing from your RSVP, they are not currently accommodated for in our reception space. Although we love all the energy and fun your little ones bring with them, we respectfully ask that you plan a parent's night out or weekend away.
