We recommend this hotel because it's near our apartment building. It's also in walking distance of several restaurants. From a vehicle transportation standpoint, it is near the intersection of the George Bush Turnpike and US Highway 75. This makes it easy to get to the hotel from the DFW airport as well as to the wedding chapel and reception location. Vehicle Transportation

If you are flying into DFW and you have a driver's license, we recommend you rent a car. DFW is a very car-oriented city and free parking is everywhere. Getting to the wedding chapel and reception dinner will require travel by vehicle. If you are flying in from overseas and you don't have an international permit or driver's license, we highly recommend you use Uber/Lyft or another taxi service. If you are interested in sightseeing in downtown Dallas, you may consider using the DART light rail system if a station is near your hotel (especially if you stay at Aloft Richardson). Otherwise, travel by vehicle is recommended elsewhere.

Local travel advice

Feel free to stay anywhere you like. Please note that the wedding chapel and reception locations are in the north Dallas suburbs. Some highways are tollways and some are not. If you decide to use tollways, please be prepared to pay $2 every few miles. There are no toll booths, so you will be billed by mail. If you are renting a car, please note the rental car companies charge a higher daily fee to use their toll tag on tollways. If you want to save a little money, try to use only free highways.
