Silver Beach County Park

The heart of St. Joe spring through fall. Clean family friendly beach on Lake Michigan. Two historic lighthouses nearby. Daily Parking Fee of $15 for non residents. There is no fee to walk into the park. On busy days you will most likely need to find parking elsewhere.

Silver Beach Pizza

The honorary drop off spot for my late Grandpa Bob. He was born in 1928. After the passing of his mom in 1938 his father relocated them to Hammond, IN for work. He longed to be back in Michigan where his grandparents were. At the young age of 9/10 he would hop in a boxcar in Hammond and take it all the way to St. Joe. It would make a stop at what is now Silver Beach Pizza where he would get off. His dad would have to drive 3-4 hours then to go pick him up. Now almost 90 years later my family is still coming here.

Warren Dunes State Park

Dad's Farm & Cafe

A local staple in St. Joe. They carry an assortment of fresh smade juices, smoothies, breakfast items, many different sandwiches, wraps, soup, salads, craft beer, cheese, vegan/vegetarian options, and more! Attached is their menu.

Clifford's Coffee Canal

Plant store turned into a coffee shop. Another local favorite offering an assortment of coffee, juices, and pastries.

Mason Jar Cafe

Everything is made fresh in house & they source almost ALL ingredients locally. Must arrive here early if you don't want to wait! They aim to accommodate all customers ranging from GF, Vegan, & Vegetarian. Menu changes based on what is in season.
