Located off the coast of South Carolina, Charleston is a charming southern city with a rich history, vibrant culture, and many amazing things to do. Founded in 1670, Charleston is home to picturesque streets, fantastic restaurants and bars, and a thriving art scene that make it one of the most beautiful cities in the US. Although there is sooo much to do and see, below I've included some of our favorite restaurants and attractions.

Learn about an uncomfortable yet important part of Charleston's history. This museum holds a wealth of information about the transatlantic slave trade and domestic slave trade in South Carolina. It is very reasonably priced and fosters a deeper understanding of American History. Plan to spend about an hour here.

A must-see Charleston landmark where some of the most important events took place in South Carolina history including the ratification of the united states constitution. This takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
