Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are requesting formal attire for the evening. This is to ensure that everyone looks their very best for any and all photos taken at the wedding! We will also have Polaroid cameras at the reception for some souvenir photos for guests. Additionally, since the wedding is taking place on Halloween, please feel free to wear a costume at the reception if you would like! This is completely optional, so don't feel pressured, but we would love to see what you come up with!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes, if it is specified on your invitation! We worked carefully to craft a guest list of all our favorite people to be with us on such an important day. Additionally, due to venue size and other factors, we did have to minimize the guest list overall. We hope you understand and will be able to come celebrate with us!

Will children be allowed?

Answer

We love all the children in both our families! However, due to the nature of the venue as well as the presence of alcohol (open bar) at the reception, we will not be able to include anyone under the age of 13. This is due mostly to venue liability, and as we planned our day, it became a clear choice to ensure everyone can enjoy their time with us without worry. There will be one exception (the bride's nephew) due to specific healthcare needs that prevent him from having a suitable caregiver outside of his mother.

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor any RSVP's after the date of September 30th, 2024. We must provide a final guest count to all vendors by this date and are unable to change it afterwards.

What if I am traveling from out of state?

Answer

Most guests will be! We will provide a few different lodging options on the "Lodging" tab on the website- please check there to see if there's something that will fit your needs. It will be updated well in advance of the wedding to allow plenty of time for booking. If you would like, feel free to source your own accommodations! The venue is located in Newport, TN, so keep that in mind if you choose to look outside of the curated options.

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Yes! A buffet style meal will be catered during the reception along with options for dessert. Please check your invitation to see dinner options and submit your choice along with your RSVP on the "RSVP" tab on our website.

What about your wedding registry?

Answer

Gifts are absolutely not necessary, but if you would like to give one there are a few listed. Additionally, we have a few funds in our registry to go towards different things such as the Newlywed fund and various gift cards to be used towards the honeymoon. The link to our registry can be conveniently found on the "Registry" tab of our website!
