Solé East Resort

We've reserved a block of hotel rooms at Solé East Resort, the site of the reception and where we'll be staying Friday and Saturday. It's a beautiful spot with gardens, a pool, restaurant and places to relax and lounge. Solé East requires a two-night minimum stay. There are a range of rooms and rates available. Email to info@soleeast.com All inquiries should include your name(s), an email address, return contact number, and a reference to the Patrick Healy/ Ray Delgado wedding room block. Please note: The wedding block rates are available through Aug. 19, 2022.

Train

Long Island Railroad (LIRR)

First: Driving to Montauk is worth considering. Montauk taxis and Ubers can take time to respond in October. Plus, things are spread out; if you want to sightsee, a car really helps. The Long Island Railroad train is fast and convenient to Montauk from New York Penn Station. It's about a three-hour train ride. You can get to the LIRR from JFK Airport as well. At the Montauk LIRR station, you'll have to call a taxi or Uber -- they are often not waiting around for trains -- and the cell reception can be spotty. It's a 10-minute drive from the station to the Montauk Lighthouse wedding site, and 10 minutes between the Lighthouse and the Solé East reception site. It's a 3-minute drive between the station and Solé East. We are looking into getting a shuttle service on the wedding day from the hotel and LIRR to the Lighthouse and back. If not, we will work with Montauk taxi companies to help ensure there's enough transport that day.
