When should I RSVP by?

Do I need to exchange money before arriving? What currency does Portugal use?

Answer

The main accepted currency in Portugal is the Euro. Many places take credit/debit cards, apple pay, and have availability to withdraw Euros at ATM's. Best place to exchange currency is at the airport for your convenience.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3 pm so please arrive at the venue no later than 2;30 pm. Transportation will be available for those staying at Melia Braga Hotel and the hotel is approximately 20min away from the venue

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. Feel free to wear what ever color makes you feel beautiful! But please, respectfully do not wear white.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary shuttle buses will be available for those staying at the Melia Braga Hotel. Specific departure times to be determined.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel or venue?

Answer

There is Uber available in Portugal. Alternatively, there is public transportation, taxis, and/or you can rent a car directly at the airport for your convivence.

What is the weather like during that time of year?

Answer

Portugal's September weather is warm and comfortable, with average daytime temperatures between 72 F and 84 F. It offers abundant sunshine, minimal rainfall, and pleasant evenings

Is the ceremony/reception indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a covered outdoor space, the cocktail hour will be both indoor and outdoor, and the reception will be indoors.
