Raymond and Janelle met in 2021 at a primary care office in the Bronx where Janelle took on her first role as an NP. This office happened to be a long time client of Raymond‘s and he was pleasantly surprised to see they had hired a new provider. Although he entered the office that day with full intentions of presenting his pharmacy to the new provider, after Raymond saw Janelle, his intentions changed completely! Raymond had a rule where he would never date anyone that worked at one of his client’s offices, but he had a feeling Janelle would be worth breaking that rule! Janelle was attracted to Raymond’s boyish laugh, nervous demeanor, sharp attire and delicious smelling cologne! Raymond was attracted to Janelle’s curly hair, her smile, the way she dressed and the way she carried herself. The two started dating officially on May 28 of 2022 and knew pretty early on that what they had was something special. They spent nearly every day together, morphing their lives between her home in Westchester and his in Queens. Some of their favorite things to do would include going to food festivals, weekend getaways, watching movies, and going to the gym. The two moved in together when they purchased their home in Westchester, NY in November of 2023. By 2024 they had expanded their little family when Raymond surprised Janelle with their golden doodle puppy named Oliver! If you ask Janelle, Oliver is not her dog, he is her son and she stands by that! On Janelle’s 31st birthday, March 4th, 2025, Raymond asked Janelle for her hand in marriage. After a beautiful brunch and horse and carriage ride through Central Park, Raymond got down on one knee under a gazebo covered in flowers and candles . The proposal was straight out of a fairytale! Now the two can’t wait to continue their love story in Braga, Portugal where they will get married on 9.28.26
