Hi all! We are officially 24 days away!!! We are so looking forward to seeing you all and celebrating with you! I just wanted to provide a quick update since I haven't posted one in a little bit. As of TODAY (5/19/2021), New York State regulations have changed from the previous update. Since this event is under the gathering limit of 250 (we will be having about 120 people), you are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination, OR proof of a negative Covid test for those that are not vaccinated! The venue is asking that guests please wear their masks (vaccinated or not) when going to the bathroom or in the lobby, however, when in the ceremony space, cocktail hour space, or reception space, masks are not required. However, you are always welcome to continue wearing one. Whatever you are comfortable with. They also encourage those who are not vaccinated to still get a Covid test completed just to be safe, but it is no longer required to get into the event. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me! My cell number is 845-249-9006. Get your dancing shoes out, and we will see you all in 24 days! Love, The Soon to be Davis Family
Hi all! After a lot of consideration, Bryan and I have decided to go ahead and move forward with our wedding. I have been in close communication with our venue, and will remain in contact with them frequently between now and the wedding. As of right now, NYS has a few requirements for weddings to happen. As of TODAY, if you are not fully vaccinated, you are required to have a Covid-19 test completed within 72hrs of the event. You will need to provide proof that you had the test completed, and of course that it was negative. For those that are fully vaccinated, you will NOT need to have a Covid-19 test completed, but will need proof of vaccination. Masks will be required when up and moving around, but not required when at your table. Our venue contact suspects that these regulations will possibly change in the coming months with more people getting vaccinated. I will continue to post updates here as I get them. Please check this platform often to stay in the loop. I started sending out invites today, so you should be getting those soon. If you decide once you send the RSVP back that you cannot make it, we ask that you please let us know ASAP, as we have deadlines to meet to give our final guest count. If you ever have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us! We hope to see everyone in June for our beginning! Katie Cell: 845-249-9006 Bryan Cell: 845-240-8003
It had always been a dream of mine to visit Niagara Falls. Luckily, Bryan's favorite football team was playing that weekend in Buffalo, so Bryan and his friends made planned to go up there for the game. When he asked me if I wanted to go, I told him only if we could go see Niagara Falls. He said "of course!" The day we got there, we stopped at the hotel, and drove around Buffalo with Sam, Aaron and DJ where we got a little tour. Such a beautiful place! After that we headed to Niagara Falls. As soon as we approached the falls, I was so taken back by the beauty. Pictures did not do this place justice, and it almost didn't seem real. We were looking over the edge and i was so mesmerized that I didn't even realize that Bryan had walked away. A few minutes later I heard him call my name. When I turned around, he was on one knee with a whole crowd of people behind him watching this beautiful moment. I cried like a baby and couldn't even get my words out to say "yes" so I just shook my head. Afterwards, a bunch of random people who watched this happen came to congratulate us, and one group of women even cried with me! After all of this, I was so in awe that I basically forgot that Niagara was something I have always wanted to see, but I couldn't stop staring at my ring, so I look forward to when we go back next. It was the perfect day with the perfect guy!
