FAQs

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! If you don't want the security guard to escort you straight to the highway, please RSVP by 06/21/2025. Our official bouncer for the event, Connor Ray, will ensure the armed security guard is aware of any wedding crashers.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have beer, wine, and cocktails available at no cost, but please bring some cash to tip the bartenders!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please! We want our wedding to be a big celebration, so don't be afraid of color! We politely request that there are no jeans or hats at our event. If you aren't sure whether the outfit you have in mind fits the brief, contact Connor Ray, he is the official fashion police for this event.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The event will take place in a completely outdoor space. August in San Diego is typically warm and sunny, but may get a little cooler at night with the sea breeze.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my child(ren)?

Answer

In order to protect young eyes from Brandon's outrageous dance moves, we politely request that children do not attend our event.

Question

Can I make a request with the DJ?

Answer

No.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

In true San Diego fashion, we will be serving tacos. Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available. If you have additional dietary restrictions, please let Taylor Cahill know as soon as possible so that we can make an attempt to accommodate your needs.

Question

How did Brooke and Brandon meet?

Answer

They were forced to talk in a lame college move-in event, and then promptly forgot they had planned to play tennis together for several weeks. One day, Brooke thought Brandon was stalking her, and then noticed the following week that they had just been in the same English class all semester and also lived directly across the hall from one another. Thanks to mutual friends and their horrible English teacher, once they got to talking, the rest was history.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We politely request that cell phones (and other electronic devices) be silenced and stowed during the wedding ceremony. We will have professional photographers to document the entire event, so please let them do their work! You may take photos and videos during the reception, but please ensure that your flash is off so that the photographers can do their best work.

Question

How do I contact Connor or Taylor?

Answer

Connor (Attire and rental car questions) - connor.donald.ray@gmail.com Taylor (Meal accommodations and neighborhoods for AirBnbs)- taylor.e.cahill@gmail.com
