Our story starts on Bedford Avenue, at Brooklyn College. Ray was President of the Radio Station and this would often be a hangout spot for students looking for downtime. Ironically, Ray and Regina shared many mutual friends, but never encountered each other. Until one day, Regina scurried into the station, looking for a place to eat the sandwich that her Grandma had made for her. Ray thought this was hilarious (a joke he still tells to this day), and decided to let Regina use his office. The next day Regina was a participant in a beauty pageant at Brooklyn College, which of course she won, and Ray was in attendance. Ray found Regina on Instagram to congratulate her. Little did they know, this conversation would be the start to a beautiful relationship.

At Ray's 30th birthday party, Ray was giving a speech - thanking those in attendance, those who had helped plan, and the friends and family that meant the most to him. Ray saved the best person for last, calling Regina to join him up front. Towards the end of his speech, Ray received a ring box from his friend, and Regina's eyes lit up as she realized what was happening. Ray went down on one knee, and asked Regina if she would marry him, and with tears in her eyes, Regina said "YES". Everyone cheered in excitement for the newly engaged couple, and they were showered with love from their friends and family. We're so excited to have you all be a part of this journey with us!
