Hotz has walked with me through my best and my worst, and has always been a voice of godly wisdom whether I wanted to hear it or not. He has above average frisbee skills, great taste in movies, and a heart that loves people well.

Chris and I shared a room our junior year of college, where we mutually enabled each other's horrendous messiness. He also encouraged me to stop worrying, drink more coffee, and not drop out of school. Looking back, Chris's relentless optimism, genuine encouragement, and overflowing love were on numerous occasions the only things that got me through the day.

I've probably spent more time drinking coffee and talking about life with Ethan than any other person. I think I might have been a mentor to him at one point, but we quickly became equals and friends for life. Ethan is fiercely loyal to his loved ones, and I count it a privilege to be on that list.

Jake has impeccable taste in both music and preaching. Jake loves Mexican food almost as much as I do, which is more than anybody else I know. Our friendship has been a constant source of growth, encouragement, and laughter.

Ryan Warner and I met in church, but our friendship quickly extended past youth group. Warner has always been the loyal friend who told me the truth I needed, whether I wanted to hear it or not. From mission trips in NYC to drives to Detroit just for a pizza, there are few friends who I can enjoy quality time, conversation, and laughs with more than Warner.
Caleb Powers

Caleb is my older cousin, but you might have confused us for twins for most of our lives since I spent a lot of time trying to be as cool as he was. He and I have grown up together setting off fireworks (usually, but not always, outside), itching to change the world, and laughing for hours on end. Caleb continues to be a role model for me, and I always look forward to the holidays that bring him back into town, because they always end with late nights of good food and refreshing talks.

KT has become the sister I never knew I needed!! She is my adventure buddy who also shares my love of ice cream, so she is the total package friend. KT is always smiling, and has kept me laughing and having fun throughout high school and in college!

From being a friend in kids' church to being a buddy in high school to being a roommate in college, Katie has seen me through it all! Katie is the calm in my crazy life, and she is always quick to laugh at stupid things I do. Very thankful for the wisdom she is always willing to share, and the hugs she so freely gives.

I remember when Becca was born, and I barely remember life before her! She completed our camping crew, and she is a key player in so many childhood memories. Becca is a beautiful light for the Lord and a smiling face who brings joy to so many!

Bailey was the first person I met in college, and the first person to take me to a pig farm! She is gentle and wise, always willing to offer a nugget of advice and encouragement. Bailey has witnessed so many of my most embarrassing moments, and she still has loved me through them!

Ellie was my very first college roommate, and she holds a tie for first place as my favorite college roommate! Ellie is so full of life and laughter. She always has fun, and she prioritizes people. Ellie is an intentional friend who always reaches out and tells awesome stories.

Kaci was a best friend in high school and always my bus buddy to and from football games and marching band competitions. Kaci has been a faithful friend who has stayed in touch and stayed a best friend through the years of college. Kaci fiercely loves those in her life, and I am blessed to have such an easy-going, intentional friend.

So thankful for friends who have been around forever, and Halee is definitely one of them! Halee and I really connected in 4th grade, but we have known each other since kindergarten. She celebrates well and truly cares for others more than herself. I have been blessed to have her as a dear friend for as long as I can remember!
