The very first time we met, Ray was buying a kiddie pool and stood behind me in line at Dollar General. He struck up a conversation, but it was almost a year before we reconnected! We met again through mutual friends, and went on a group camping trip with them! From there, we became best friends who hung out all the time and then Ray asked if I would give him a chance. Initially, I said no, but I am very glad that I came around to the idea! Dating has been filled with lots of ice cream, adventures outside, and pushing each other toward Jesus. We are both committed to serving Him as we serve each other, and we are very excited to see where we grow from here!

Ray knows how much I love water, so he planned a secret day trip to Niagara Falls with some of my best friends! However, a blizzard was hitting New York on the day he wanted, so they changed the plan to road trip to Blackwater Falls in West Virginia. I was told that KT was bringing me to go skiing with her family, and we were stopping at a cool waterfall on the way to the ski resort! Little did I know, Ray, Katie, and Will were all set up at that 'cool waterfall', and Ray proposed, asking me if I would stick around long enough for us to finally take a trip to Niagara Falls!

Ray is working as a youth pastor in Canal Winchester, Ohio. He is taking classes at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to get his Masters of Divinity. Hannah has accepted and started a job teaching special education at Central High School in Columbus, Ohio. We are planning to live in Canal Winchester, and are very excited for the ministry opportunities that the Lord has given to us through our jobs!
