Hailey is the lucky woman marrying Ray Oxendine! Hailey will be a junior in the fall of 2021 at California Baptist University! She is majoring in Health Science: Pre-Physician Assistant Studies. She is also minoring in Spanish for Health Care Professionals. Hailey is a honors student with hopes to get into PA school, especially at The University of Texas Southwestern! Hailey loves spending time with her friends and family. She loves spending time outdoors, surfing, hiking and swimming, when she isn’t studying! Hailey is beyond excited to take this next step in her life with Ray and cannot wait to see what God has in store for their life together. She feels extremely blessed by the overwhelming support from both of their families and friends! Hailey cannot wait for her and Ray’s big day!!

Raymond Cory Oxendine Jr. is the lucky man marrying Hailey! Ray is from The Colony, Tx and his parents are Sarah Bamford and Raymond Oxendine Sr. Ray graduated from The Colony High School in June 2019 shortly beginning his enlistment in the Marine Corps 3 months later in September 2019. Ray is currently stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Ca. He is an mortarman with 1st LAR! Ray will end his enlistment in 2023 with plans and hopes to become a firefighter. Ray loves spending time outdoors hiking, fishing and spending time at the beach! He loves spending time with his friends, marine buddies, and especially with his fiancé Hailey! He also enjoys visiting his family and friends in Texas during leave blocks! Ray is very excited for his future with Hailey and can't wait to be married!

Merci is the mother of Hailey, her first born child. Merci is married to Hailey’s father, Richard Courtright, whom she is celebrating 25 years of marriage with in April 2021! Merci is a support educator at a local elementary school who has a passion for children with special needs. Merci is devoted to being a ministry leader for Celebrate Recovery, a ministry for all of life’s hurts, hang ups, and habits. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She is emphatic about studying God’s word, so much so that she is pursuing her degree with a special emphasis in bible and theology. Merci couldn’t be happier for Hailey and Ray. She loves how they choose each other while putting God first in their relationship. She is excited for Ray and Hailey and God’s will for their life together.

Richard Courtright

Father of the Bride

Richard is the proud father of Hailey. He works in cybersecurity and after spending 12 years in catering, he has returned to the field of computers. He is a pretty good chef, an "aspiring to be great" husband, and a devoted father. He loves and values his family more than anything. He is very happy to welcome Ray into his family and he wishes both Ray and Hailey more happiness than they knew was possible.

Dakota is Hailey’s younger sister. Hailey and Dakota are 8 years apart, despite their age gap, Hailey and Dakota are closer than ever and have a valuable relationship. Dakota is going to be a 7th grader at Day Creek Intermediate school in the Fall of 2021. Dakota is passionate about animals, video games, and spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time she makes video edits to post on Tic Tok of her favorite tv shows, Supergirl, The Flash and Arrow.

Trip Street

Best Man

Trip Street is Ray's lifelong best friend! Ray and Trip met in second grade! One of his favorite memories with Ray was when they went out on a lake in a canoe and Ray ended up sinking the canoe! Trip's dad had to come rescue them and will never let Ray live that down! Trip is 20 years old and is currently a server and a student. Trip is also an awesome height of 5'7. Trip is currently enrolled at University of North Texas getting his degree in finance and will be graduating in 2023! With his degree he hopes to one day own a car dealership! A funny story about Trip is that he once got a concussion jumping down a flight of stairs because he was convinced that he could fly (he was five years old). His one wish for Hailey and Ray is that they can start each day happier than the day before!

Brooke is Hailey's cousin. Hailey and Brooke's dads, Richard and Dan, are brothers! Being born only 7 weeks apart ensured that Hailey and Brooke spent a lot of their childhood together. They have lots of playdates, adventures, giggles, and great memories to look back on, as well as funny stories to reminisce about. Brooke met Ray nearly a year ago at one of our family gatherings and could automatically tell that Hailey and Ray were infatuated with each other. Since then, Hailey, Ray, Brooke and her boyfriend, Kyle and have hung out several times. Brooke can tell that they make each other happy, and that ray is a good guy. She really couldn't ask for any more for her cousin.

Jesse is Hailey’s younger brother. Hailey and Jesse are 1 1/2 years apart. In the fall of 2021 Jesse will be a Senior at Rancho Cucamonga High School. Jesse participates in the school’s Chamber Choir Singers and is passionate about spending time with friends and family, music, and painting. In Jesse’s free time he likes to sing, play video games, and help others who are in need for example signing up for mission trips with the church our family goes to and participating in Key Club at school.

Jessica is Ray's oldest cousin! They both grew up together as only being a little over a year apart in age. Her and Ray share many good memories together. Jessica is 22 years old and is currently a student at Texas Woman's University and will be graduating with her degree this May 2021 in criminal justice! She dreams to be a forensic phycologist with her degree. Jessica is very excited to be apart of Hailey and Ray's big day! One of her favorite recent memories with Hailey and Ray happened during this Christmas of 2020. Her, Hailey, Ray and her boyfriend, Hunter all hung out together at Ray and Jessica's grandmothers house and got to spend some awesome quality time together! If she could have one wish for Hailey and Ray is that they would have a happy life together with peace!

Emma will be a Junior at California Baptist University. She is studying interior design and is currently an RA. Emma met Hailey their freshman year while living on the same hall. They have been close friends since then and have had many opportunities to grow closer during summer trips together. As well as through time spent together during this past semester on campus. Emma got to see Hailey and Ray together for the first time this past summer and has been able to see them grow stronger together through their love for each other and Christ.

Hailey McKay is from Ojai California. Going to college was super scary for her because she was not assigned a roommate. The day she moved in, her and and Hailey Courtright were put in a room together. Hailey Mckay loves what a blessing it was living with Hailey Courtright! Hailey Courtright helped Hailey Mckay meet new people at school while they always studied together. Hailey Courtright definitely helped Hailey McKay stay focused on school which got her into the nursing program. She never seen Hailey Courtright as happy and content since she’s been with Ray. Hailey McKay remembers when Hailey Courtright first FaceTimed her told her about him and she was so giddy. Hailey McKay is excited to get to know Ray better and see how Hailey Courtright and Ray will continue to grow together.

She knew Hay before she knew Ray ( ha it rhymes. hay-ray ((it's totally meant to be)) Hailey and Abby met at California Baptist University where their friendship blossomed! Abby’s boyfriend and her then got introduced to Ray and started doing some fun double dates and spending time together. Now they are all buds!

Ava is one of Ray’s twin cousins. Ray was so excited to meet his cousins that he came to visit them in the hospital the day they were born. Ava loves dinosaurs and playing with her baby dolls and wrestlers. She loves to tell jokes and is very sweet. Ava hopes to be a dinosaur doctor one day.

Layla is Ava’s twin sister and Ray’s little cousin. She spends her free time playing with her wrestlers, as well as all of her “stuffies”. Layla loves to help her little brother and hopes to be a garbage girl one day. She is a sweet girl with a big heart.

Forrest is Ray’s youngest cousin. At 2 ½ years olds, he has a lot of personality and a strong love of his sisters. Forrest spends his free time playing with his cars and lining them up. He also loves to find buses on the road. Forrest tries to keep up with Ava and Layla the best he can. Macaroni and cheese, pizza, and hot dogs (with no bun) are his favorite foods.

Bear is Ray and Hailey's Australian Shepherd Pup! Bear is very fun, loves spending time with his mom and dad, playing with his aunties and uncles, hanging out with other pups, playing in his water dish, swimming at the beach and at the lake, and playing with his favorite toys, his duck and squirrel. Bear is so exited for his mommy and daddy to get married and cannot wait to be the dog of honor on their big day! Bear asks that you bring him some treats to the wedding because he knows he will be emotional eating all day! He cannot wait to move to his new home with just his mom and dad but will always enjoy visits to his grandma's and grandpa's. He can't wait to see how awesome his mom and dad will look on their big day.
