Liberia Guanacaste Airport

Liberia is the closest airport to the resort (1.5 hr drive). You can either rent a car or arrange for transportation. If you need any help with booking travel, let us know and we will put you in contact with our travel assistant, Adriana.

Hotel

Blue River Resort & Hot Springs

Welcome to your home during the wedding festivities! This is where the ceremony and most activities will take place. We encourage you to check out the website to see what they have to offer. Notes: There is a restaurant at the resort, they close at 10pm and no other food service or snacks are available until 6am. The area is rustic, you may find bugs in your rooms. We never had a problem, but one may find their way inside. Rooms are very spacious and have AC. Rooms are walkable to all the resort grounds & restaurant. Breakfast is included in your reservations. There is a 20% discount on spa services if you book at least four days before your arrival. There is a 10% discount on all tours for our guests. They have a great Dino tour for the kids.

Travel Note

Car Rental

There are several car rental companies near the airport. We had a great experience with Alamo & Avis was a pain when we used them the first time in CR. If you need assistance on booking a car, we can put you in contact with our travel assistant, Adriana, who can assist you. She can translate and get reservations set up. If you prefer to do it yourself, you can Google car rentals in Liberia Costa Rica & reserve through their website or call and reserve.
