We would prefer the wedding event on Saturday to be child free (very young children/infants) due to the late nature and venue. However if your child is 8 or older, we are happy to have them! We just did not default to accounting for their presence so please add their names to your RSVP. This includes much older kids and other immediate family members. Thanks! We are working on options for childcare with our Austin-based parent-friends if you need help. Just reach out to us directly please.
If you choose to drive, there is street parking and various parking garages in the area. If available, there is street parking right in front of the venue or guests can be dropped off. State garages are free to park in, as long as you stay on or above the third level. The best one is across the venue across San Jacinto Blvd. —-“Garage Q”. You can ignore ‘employees only’ signs. The Texas Facilities Commission allows Saengerrunde Hall to use the state garages. We do advise to rideshare/uber/lyft if you're drinking, though. Please be responsible!
Cocktail is the official dress code, but we want you to come dressed in whatever makes you feel your best - so if you'd like to go all out black tie, we won't discourage it! We do ask for you to not wear jeans, graphic tees, or shorts, please, and remember: there's bowling, so wear something you can move in & bring socks!
Yes! The venue has a vintage bowling alley. This will be an after-dinner event. Remember to bring socks !!
Yes! We shall be karaoke-ing at Highball upstairs. We have three rooms reserved from 11pm - 1am. Come as you are!
