Maid of Honor
We met on the dodge ball court in middle school and have been taking on life's challenges together ever since!
Best Man
Me and my man Joe go back like Starter jackets. I've known him so long I honestly can't remember when or how we met. He's more of a little brother to me than he is a friend. We've had each others back from bible school to high school. From my time in the Navy to his time in Alaska. Now my little bro is getting ready to take the next step in his life. I'm happy for him and like always I got his back.
Maid of Honor
I first met Raven in 2016 through a mutual friend at my annual Christmas party. Shortly thereafter, I learned that she was moving to Columbia from Charlotte. I told our mutual friend that I would look out for her once she moved to city, and we have been inseparable ever since! We even lived in the same neighborhood and would do weekly dinners at each others house. We have been in weddings together, traveled out of the country, shared holidays, seen each other mature in our careers and relationships and have been there for each other through the good, the bad and the ugly lol. She has not only been a great friend to me over the years, but has also become my sister. I love her dearly and am so excited for Raven and Joe;s union! I wish them many years of love, joy, happiness and blessings.
Best Man
Joe is more than a friend he's family. I'm not sure when we met, but I do remember one thing. If it wasn't for me meeting him and cheating off of his test I would still be in Mr. Clark's math class in Cradock.

The first time I met Cook was in SAT Prep on a Saturday in High School. When I saw him in class, I asked him his name because I’ve seen him at church. He simply replied ”Cook” as if he just woke up 2 mins ago. We eventually became friends and teammates through basketball and soccer. Knowing Cook from high school throughout college was always a great time with a bunch of shenanigans. Seeing him with Raven and witnessing their connection is pure awesomeness. The first time I met Raven was during A Christmas holiday when Cook brought her over to meet me and my wife Rachel. I cooked and we became cool instantly. In all, I’m so happy for you guys and blessed to help celebrate this union.

I met Raven by chance as freshmen at a hair salon near Hampton U. Nearly 15 years later, we've maintained a solid friendship over a mutual love of Sex and the City, the word "tunechi," Marilyn Monroe's birthday song, lots of feelings, and random funny moments.

Cook and I met in high school playing football. Crazy thing is we weren't friends just teammates. Reunited in college at Norfolk State University and that's where we became brothers, roommates and life long friends. Countless adventures, trials and tribulations have shaped our relationship into what it is today. PS - Go Hawks!

Joe and I became friends from being studio rats at THEE ILLUSTRIOUS Norfolk State University. He became my bro when we became student leaders in the Dept. of Mass Communications-- traveling to different states showcasing our media production skills and talent. Our department chair, Dr. Brockington, asked me if I was interested in doing live spots for ESPNU during an upcoming NSU football home game. I told her that Joe was the best candidate, because that's actually what he wanted to do as a career. Needless to say-- he killed it! .
