Travel Note
Our wedding will take place in the Georgetown neighborhood of DC. Although there is not a metro stop located directly in Georgetown, the nearby Foggy Bottom metro station is a 20 minute walk. From Foggy Bottom you can easily access other parts of the city, including the National Mall. We recommend using Uber/Lyft/Taxi as needed rather than renting a car. Please reach out if you need assistance- we are happy to help with navigating the city!
Flight
There are 3 airports in the DC Area: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) Dulles International Airport (IAD) Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) If possible, we recommend flying into DCA as it is the closest and most convenient airport to the Georgetown area (15 minutes). However, IAD and BWI are also an option and are 45 minutes-1 hour from Georgetown by car.
