We're so glad you're here! What began in Los Angeles has grown into a love that now brings together two countries, countless miles, and all the people we cherish most. From the UK to the US, we feel incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends and family traveling near and far to celebrate with us. Thank you for being part of this adventure. We can’t wait to raise a glass (or two) together and begin our next chapter surrounded by all of you!
Lauren and George’s story starts exactly how all great love stories do: in line for the bathroom at Roosterfish. Within minutes of Lauren arriving with her brother Grant and sister-in-law Ashlee (fresh off their flight and ready for a proper SoCal welcome), George stepped into line behind her and sparked up a conversation. Moments later, they both exited their respective bathrooms at the same time (timing suspiciously perfect), and George hit her with, “Well this seems like fate, doesn’t it?” Smooth. Lauren, equal parts entertained and responsible host, told him she had to get back to her table, but casually extended an invite to join. George wasted zero time, immediately abandoning his friends (sorry, guys) and making his way over. Not only did he pick things back up with Lauren, but he also managed to win over her entire family in record time. What started as a chance run-in turned into a full night of laughs, and even a follow-up outing to a comedy show a few nights later. And just like that, a bathroom line turned into something a lot more permanent. Turns out, George might’ve been right… fate sure has a funny way of working!
