Question

Is the wedding reception still happening in light of COVID-19?

Answer

As of right now our new venue in Maryland is working with us and local officials to ensure the safest and best possible outcome for our wedding, which means it is still happening! They have hosted weddings all throughout this year already and seem to have it down.

Question

Are you requiring COVID vaccinations or tests to attend?

Answer

In light of everything happening in the world, we would like to request that all guests receive a negative COVID test at least 72 hours before attending our wedding. If you are feeling unwell at the last minute or have been exposed, please stay home and stay safe. We will miss you but this is in the best interest of our guests. Masks are welcome and recommended for unvaccinated guests. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? And where are all of the wedding events happening?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5pm and guests will start to gather and get seated around 4:30pm. The ceremony and reception are within the same building onsite at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors for dining and dancing.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying at The Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, the venue is onsite. If you are staying at a nearby hotel in our block (Best Western, Hilton, Holiday Inn Express) there will be a shuttle that we have hired to and from the venue on the wedding day.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, we hope that you will be able to take the night/weekend off with us. That being said, please let us know ahead of time if your kiddos will be joining us so we can include them in the guest count.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invite says "plus one" or we have otherwise discussed this, just your beautiful self will be joining us. We want to make this as intimate as possible by celebrating with everyone we know and love.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Although it won't be a black tie event, the venue is beautiful and myself and my bridal party will be dressed to the nine's. I would like to call this semi-formal, but let me know if you have questions on dress code.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 26th, 2021. This will give us ample time to do the seating chart and finalize all the little details.

Question

Can we act like a paparazzi and take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

Sorry friends, but the ceremony is unplugged! We have hired a professional photographer to get all of these moments without cell phones blocking them.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Although Maryland is beautiful in late September, weather can be unpredictable especially by the water. Please don't forget your jackets and other layers for the trip.
