What does it mean to be respectful?

Answer

With the number of gender diverse peoples at this event, we want to remind everyone: When asking for a person's name, also ask for their pronouns. Just because they may appear a certain way to you, that doesn't mean that is how they identify. Once you know someone's pronouns, use them! If you trip up, don't make a big deal of it. Simply correct yourself, and move on. For anyone who knows either groom's deadname, no you don't. If you are found using either groom's deadname, you will be escorted out. We are heading into a new life together, and our new friends don't need to know that.

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We ask that you wear something comfortable, that you feel really good in, and/or something you've been dying to wear out, but never had a place to wear it! It can be anything from a gown to a cosplay, a three piece suit to sweatpants. Anything goes! Do keep in mind, the ceremony will be outdoors in July. The reception will be indoors, but the building is not air conditioned.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than JUNE 18TH. If you don't RSVP, we won't know you'll be there!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 9:30, as we will be starting at 10. If you will be bringing a potluck dish, you may want to arrive sooner than that to be sure we can get it onto the tables for the reception lunch.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not bring any additional dates or family members, as it is a small venue. When RSVPing on our site, the names of all in your party whom are invited will appear. If you have questions, you may text either of us, or email at isaac.and.rasmus@gmail.com :)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend the Courtyard by Marriott! It's close to our venue and conveniently located near many restaurants. :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be limited parking. We ask that you please carpool with friends or relatives. Thanks!
